Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als I am a little eccentric which I (and my friends) think makes me an interesting person to know. I'm intelligent, insightful and healthy in body, mind and spirit. I'm reliable and honest and I expect others to be as well. I'm more curious about life now than ever before (I guess I have finally realized that we humans have barely scratched the surface of what there is to experience and learn). I believe I'm entering the best and most exciting and fulfilling phase of my life. My birth certificate may indicate I'm 63. I feel like a newly minted college graduate (hopefully a little wiser than the first time around).

I recently left my actuarial career in Corporate America. I was unhappy in today's Corporate culture and it was time for me to do something new and that I like more. I now trade futures and currencies and I'm designing a course for traders based on Mindfulness. Me and a good friend and former colleague just started a new company. Our company provides Actuarial and Strategic Advice to the Health Care Industry. My worldview is that being alive here and now is just great. I no longer have a" J.O.B." I'm doing what I love to do. I am living a life of self- discovery. I meditate almost everyday and am my own "witness" (at least at the appallingly rare times I remember to do so).

I don't think we achieve happiness. I think we have to allow ourselves to be happy.

I'm a voracious reader and learner. I love to learn and my interests range from Cosmology to sub-atomic physics and almost everything in between (I mean for the intelligent laymen. So no mathematical equations ). Martin Heidegger, a philosopher in the early 20th century once asked, "Why is there anything instead of nothing?" I love stuff like that and I hope you do too. I love thought provoking conversation so we can both learn and even co-create ideas. I don't like "debates" because it implies that at least one of us actually thinks we know the "truth." I like movies, playing cards with friends, traveling to exotic places and I love the Rocky Mountains. I listen and want to be interested in many of the things my partner is interested in. I know we will both need some private time. Finally, your happiness, your joy, is very important to me.

I have two adopted children, both at or just after birth. Our first child was born female and was very depressed all the way through high school. After much therapy, she told us she felt uncomfortable in her body, "She" told us that being female felt wrong and decided to transgender to male. He is on hormone therapy and had upper body surgery. He is happy and I love him. He's my son.

I myself have a very strong feminine side. I love to talk about things my male friends are not that interested in. Well, most men don't like talking about really interesting things such as "The mystery of life."

I'm happy with who I am. I want to expand my horizons and explore my sexuality. So far, I have no interest in a relationship with a man. You're different. I have no idea where I might go with this.

Ein ideales erstes Date wäre Going to Museum of Modern Art and The Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan, getting the name of a fabulous restaurant in the Village from my nephew that only New Yorkers know about and spending the night in one of NY's fine hotels. The only thing better would be having that date in the Rocky Mountains so after a fine dinner, we could go outside and see a sky full of stars that cannot be seen anywhere else. And the the fine hotel.
