- Ik beschrijf mezelf als: I'm retired and devoting full time to studies and writing (including a book, long in preparation). My focus is the native Biblical perspective on the Atonement that I have dubbed "premial atonement" (which reveals as well as morally exemplifies God's ultimate hyper-restorative justice) in radical contrast to the dominant evangelical Protestant doctrine of penal substitutionary atonement. I launched two blog sites in 2011, and an audio "blogcast" in March 2022, devoted to the theological, ethical, and public policy implications of my revolutionary findings. I research many other topics at length, and most recently the history and changing values and norms of the American sex revolution, especially intersex and transgender issues and concerns. It's important for me to keep physically fit and use a gym several times a week. My dad was a chef, so I love to cook and eat healthily. I prefer coffeehouses to bars. My apt. is a library of 7,000+ books plus other media. I enjoy feature films and documentaries. My musical tastes gravitate toward the symphonic, piano jazz and concertos, musical theater, and contemporary worship. I get around by foot, bicycle, and bus. I'm looking for companionship (definition open) with those who can warm up to my Biblical orientation and concordant analysis and then contribute their own unique giftedness and passions to help clarify and communicate the often controversial yet powerfully substantiated, joyously beneficial, and societally liberating implications to disfavored minorities, beleaguered sub-populations, or simply curious audiences, for starters.
